We are thrilled to bring randonneuring events to the greater Detroit area.
Starting our fifth year the number of participants and interest in randonneuring continues to increase, volunteers are needed
to help us continue to grow. Start/Finish, and manned control help, route planning, and pre-riding the route is needed.
Please contact Tom Dusky Detroit Randonneurs info@detroitrandonneurs.org if you would like to help or for more information.

Randonneuring is long-distance unsupported endurance cycling.
This style of riding is non-competitive in nature, and self-sufficiency is paramount.
Participating in randonneuring events, riders are part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning
of the sport of cycling in France and Italy. Friendly camaraderie, not competition, is the hallmark of randonneuring.

Randonneurs USA (RUSA) membership is not mandatory for participation,
but is greatly encouraged, please JOIN NOW! or renew your membership.
We are happy to participate in the League of Michigan Bicyclists $1 Per Rider program, so $1 from every entry will go go help the LMB make cycling safer and more enjoyable http://www.lmb.org
